Oral History Victoria (OHV) recognises the importance of protecting the privacy and rights of individuals in relation to their personal information.

Please be assured, we respect your rights to privacy under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Act) and we comply with all of the Act’s requirements in respect of the collection, management and disclosure of your personal information.

Collection, use and disclosure of personal information

As an OHV member you provide certain personal information through this membership system so that we can better understand, and cater for, the needs of our membership. Your membership profile may be accessed by administrators of this membership system but will not be shared with other OHV members or external parties - other than with your express consent. 

We encourage you to keep your membership profile up-to-date.

At times this membership portal may be used to facilitate a members-only private forum. In such circumstances you will be advised of the information that will be provided about you in the forum before you participate.
